Another apology for lack of posts lately I have been very much neglecting my online presence. I haven’t even been keeping up with fashion month, shame on me! But a well needed lazy Saturday (and now Sunday evening as it turns out for me to finish the post) has put me back in a normal state of mind and it was straight onto style.com for a catch up. The first in my bi-annual fashion week spamming is the glorious new men’s collection from Costume National. The stand out pieces in this collection were definitely the outerwear. Sumptuous jewel coloured wools and even a turquoise leather coat (usually not a fan of coloured leather unless it’s a bag). All this emerald and sapphire goodness in sharp suiting suits me just fine thank you please.

ashley olsen shot by ruven afanador for marie claire magazine. an oldie from 2007 but a goodie. puts all the desparate scousewives to shame with her can rollers. my love of the olsen twins is eternal but ashley’s heightened all the more by ruven’s photos. much love and mince pies.

many christmas parties later i am now suitably merry and ready for the real christmas season to start. fun times at the office and dressing well. tidying the flat to within an inch of it’s life it now, despite the paint patches all over the walls, looks almost clinical. bring on the fun.

i adore the setting of this photo from rackk and ruin. it is a closet visit of designer karolina maszkiewicz and she has this epic couch thing. lovely wallpaper too.

never cry on your own, never cry but when you cry just try and find some perfect stranger with the tissue shoulders on ‘cos i know the score and it’s hard when it’s her your crying for. never go on your own.

i love these photos by billy kidd. the first model looks like she’s having a lot of fun with him and i am obsessed with washy colours in the second one.
